Our next two Hasbro figure reviews will be Kylo Ren figures, the first one will be the Armor-Up and the second the 3.75 Black Series. The Armor-Up to the Build-A-Weapon version (you can see our review here.) There’s not a lot to add to what we said from the previous Kylo Ren version except that this one has an armor-up with him that you have to pay more than a BAW figure while at the time of The Clone Wars some figures had a armor-up with them and it was in the basic line costing the same price as the basic figures so that’s annoying to pay more because they put a useless piece of plastic with the figure and the armor-up in TCW were more fun than these ones. Since we’re talking about the negative sides of the figure, there’s a problem of paint app at the bottom of Kylo’s skirt there’s some white paint that is supposed to look like snow but it just looks like some bad paint apps unfortunately. However, the big advantage of this figure is Kylo doesn’t have his hood, he has his mask and in the movie we also see him a lot without his hood. But of course Hasbro couldn’t make one figure with the hood and without the hood, they had to make two so we had to buy them both and probably a third one coming without the mask … So this figure isn’t bad but it isn’t the best, however having him without his hood is something great.
