Now, it’s time to review Rey in her resistance outfit, it’s a 5POA figure. This is not an awesome figure. I love the outfit, it feels like an adventure outfit but Hasbro got the color of it wrong. The shirt under the jacket and the boots are the right color but the rest of the outfit has been painted wrong, in the movie it looks like it’s gray and not brownish so once again Hasbro messed up with the color gray! I don’t know what to say anymore. The blaster fits well in the holster, that’s an improvement compared to Han Solo but it’s still a tiny blaster, just a little bit bigger would have been good. At least, they got the colors right. She also has Anakin’s lightsaber with her with the blade but not just the hilt so it’s not easy to recreate the final scene without just the hilt.
About the face, we can recognize Rey in there but let’s just say the 3.75 Black Series was better, though this one is not bad.
It’s a disappointing figure, when almost an entire outfit is painted with the wrong color, it can’t be good.
If you want to recreate the final scene of The Force Awakens, here’s a little help for Rey. You can find the hilt of Anakin’s lightsaber with other figures, for example you have it with Anakin Skywalker from the Vintage Collection. For the satchel, you can take the satchel from the Clone Airborne Trooper found in basic figure of the 30th Anniversary Collection or in the Mace Windu’s Attack Battalion Battle Pack of the Saga Collection:
For Luke, we just have to wait for the release of the figure.
